Team Kawasaki Drag motors!!!

Who builds the motors for Team Kawasaki and Rickey Gadson?!

I believe the motor's for Rickey were built by Muzzy, and coby adams built chip ellis, formula superbike motor, and Steve Rice built Chip Ellis Funnybike Motor. and Coby is doing all of the tuning for Team Kawasaki this year? I would bet that Muzzy helps in the Tech Dept for sure!

Kawasaki decided a few years back to go back to being a real factory road racing team and took back their roadracing in house. I am not aware of a factory Kawasaki Drag Racing team. At least all of the info I can it would appear that Muzzy is one of the leads on drag racing side for Kawasaki.

Is there some other take or news here?

Actually I believe Muzzy is now Piloting the Kawasaki Pro-Stock Dragracing only, and Coby Adams is the Mechanic/Tuner for the Dragracing Team for Prostar this year. but please doug or rob correct me If I am misunderstood! and Again I am sure that Muzzy is helping out where they can for the Prostar Dragracing side also.

I was thinking that Kawasaki had its own Drag racing team and used Muzzy as the "Team Mechanics" like a Nascar team or something. I believe that Rickey Gadson is the Kawasaki Company Factory Rider and that was his connection with Muzzy's..?!

Is Colby's bikes competing against Muzzy's bikes now?!

No Team Muzzy is racing NHRA this season, and will only make a few of the Prostar races, they have sold all of their drag bikes, with kawasaki or rickey buying the SBS bike (the 12), and I believe Highlands Kawi, bought the ZRX SBS, and dont know who bought the formula superbike Ryan rode....

That's pretty much right Mike,
Kawasaki is sponsoring the Team Muzzy built NHRA ZX-12 this year with Ryan riding.
Muzzys is a sponsor of the Prostar Streetbike shootout 12 that we built for Rickey to ride for Kawasaki last year. Kawasaki bought that bike from us and Coby is tuning and maintaining that bike. Muzzys is also a sponsor of the Adams built Ellis ridden Formula Superbike and their Vulcan. Steve's Funnybike is idle now.
The only bike Muzzys has for Prostar this year is the Turbo 12 Pro Mod. One of the main reasons for our not competeing in Prostar is logistics. Most of the Prostar races conflict with the NHRA races. Can't be in two places at once and the NHRA is the primary focus due to the large television audience.

Hey Doug...I hope Muzzy isnt going to let Harley Davidson shut the inline 4 motor down for a V-Twin!!!...Unless Muzzy is going to make a Kawasaki V-Twin motor to compete and BEAT the HD motors!!!
