I've had them on other bikes and all I did was paint the inside lower portion with regular old black spray paint. "Euro-trim" or a low to semi gloss works best. Just mask off the area you want hidden and spray away!

I made a little "dash board cover" that attaches to the top of the speedo & tach. Its made of foam backed naugahyde and looks factory fitted. Covers everything behind the instruments.

Hmmm....I only see a couple available, & this is the only pic I have viewable from the web:

Fish, I can snap a few (soon as it stops raining) & shoot you some directly. PM me your e-mail addy & I can send you direct.

FYI, mine was the first one Ken (Owner of ZG) made up, & he said it took several tries. But it came out really nice, it's optically correct, & the sudden lack of windblast enabled higher speeds. You can even see thru it in fading light conditions...

Can you tell I like it?

I have some black, 1/2" thick foam rubber with a smooth side that I trimmed to fit and put back there. Being foam rubber, it kinda wedges in and stays put. The smooth side makes it look kinda "factory" if you will. Anyway, I have some left I can throw in a manila envelope and ship to you if you want to play with some. Shoot me an e-mail.
