power commander maps and fuel
Hello all, im kinda in a jam, I have a 2000 zx12 1287cc cams and mild head work, I have it mapped for pump gas. I could use a bit more power and cant get to the dyno before this weekend. Anyone have any good maps and fuel suggestions I can try, I was thinking MR9 or what ever the local shops have in stock till I can get it custom mapped. Im running in Columbus ohio this weekend.

Will do supra thanks, Its been years since I delt with this map stuff. I cant find the software for the PClllR. I downloaded the PC3 software and its not compatible with the lllr. Looks like I will just hope for the best this weekend and head to the dyno asap.

I have used the VP113 before but the bike wasn't tuned for it so it didn't run any better. If you are going to use the VP113 have the bike tuned for it on the dyno.
If you do get it tuned for VP113 post some results for us. I would like to know if it makes more power than pump gas.
The PCIIIr software should be on the dynojet website. I just downloaded it a couple weeks ago.

thanks for the advice @supra. I got lucky, I was feeling I had some crappie gas in my bike, so I pumped it out got to the track put in fresh 93 pump gas, bumped all 3 ranges up on the power cammander first pass was a 9.52 on a 9.50 index. second pass was 9.45 so no need to remap im on the number. Years ago I had the bike tuned with VP Q16 it made 8 more horse power.
