Hi guys.......Just got home from DPE Racing's dyno day, held here in Toronto. I took my Kawasaki 'Super Vulcan' project bike over, cause my other bikes are all in pieces for winter work.
I built this one off Vulcan 3 years ago, with the help of folks like Muzzy's etc. It's truly a beautiful motorcycle, weighs 540lbs wet.
Anyway, does it go? How about 96ft/lbs of torque @ 3,500 rpm and 79 hp @5,000rpm!!! It only has (4) gears......Fuckin thing would embarass some superbikes in a top gear roll on.

Thanks for asking ZX.....Firstly I will remove the motor and pump up the jam, typically with higher compression pistons and head work etc. Next all unecessary parts will be turfed, like turn signals etc. As I plan to produce the World's first chromeless cruiser, I will paint the motor, once built, frame, wheels and all body parts. Hard bags will be built if not available and painted to match. The bike will be lowered with my trademark drag bars. I'll build a smaller seat and a really sexy set of high performance shorty, dual down spout exhaust. The exhaust will have a pipe inside a pipe designed totally encompassing outer cover, for heat disapation, which will allow me to paint it and give the apperance of painted headers. I will modify the air intake and utilize the Power Cmmander to work some FI flow magic, lessons learned from the 12 project. Once completed, I will present the coolest streamliner you've ever seen. This project will be my Opus and I estimate from design to the street, it will take me approximatley 2 years or so to complete. Performance goals are a solid 120rwhp and approx. 130 ft/lbs of torque. It shall be code named the 'Street Cleaner'.....Bring on the V-Rods!
