05 ZX12 1st gear sputter

Hi All, having a problem with an 05 ZX12. I got a D&D bolt on, gutted cat and BMC race filters. I notice at low speed (5-10 mph rolling with clutch out) I get a stutter/jerky response in first gear, unless I open the throttle a bit. Im thinking this is because of the gutted cat. Perhaps Im running a little lean? Anything after 10-15mph its smooth like butter. Im wondering what this low speed "stutter" is being caused by. Its almost like when your driving a manual trans car and start in 2nd gear, just not as pronounced. Its only from 0-15 mph.

Anytime you mess around with the hard parts you have to mess with the software to match everything back up. If the bike had carbs you would have worked on the needles and jets why would you think you can alter it on both sides of the valves and not have to adjust the mixture? Buy a power commander and have it properly mapper and it will be butter again especially an 05 with a 32 but ECU. If you're going to pay for a map which will cost you about $300 go ahead and pull the secondary flies out first then map it for even more performance that's free for the taking but not something you want to do without mapping it as you have seen already it don't take a lot to jack it up..
