Program the fan to come on earlier and/or
Program the fan to run continuously in the first 3 gears so the big bore will start when hot.

Bluetooth? BAH - I want 802.11b or g - just give me some security, so I don't drive by some PC-IIIr hacker's house and lose my custom map to him! =P.
quote:*laughs* You call the encryption in 802.11 secure??
Enable IIS Webdav, CSC, EFS, and download your encrypted files from the web. This way your files can only be decrypted by you when they reach your desktop.

The Link programmable ECU I have in my 260 hp turboed Miata has fuel maps, ignition maps plus 36 engine control variables like max rpm cut off, boost controls, knock sensor controls, fan temperature cut in, ignition dwell, coolant temp, lambda targets, enrichment settings, cold temp restart enrichment, throttle damping etc etc. It is amazing what the ECU controls if the software is written and an ECU developed to allow mods to be made. It also allows you to data log then do analysis on the output using analysis software. The GP bikes use this technology. Someone in the bike world just needs to jump in and make it available to consumers. Its expensive though. The ECU for the Miata is $1800US. Fun to play with though. I'd love one for the 12.

There's a couple EMS setups out there that work with any motor. The Muzzy EMS is one example. After you get through the basics, it's all bells and whistles, of course. What I was referring to in the first post was stuff that stays within the purvue of what the Power Commander does. (modifies the fuel injection and ignition timing signals coming from the stock ECU).
