Help me find thread: re Kawi Service Bul. re: Drilling Clutch Hub
swft tells me it was posted here complete with scanned copy from Kawi recommending drilling of the hub etc..
can someone help me find it or please repost the scan in this thread?

I posted a bit in that thread. I got the picture from my kawi dealer.
Their recommendation was not as good as some other hole drilling that I have seen, but in theory, my dealer DID say that they would drill mine out free of charge.

no... it's blocked.... is it a service bulliten or just a picture of a drilled hub?
I am looking fer the actually document from Kawi that was posted here.

I tried to get somebody to find it earlier this year. Nobody could find a Kaw Service bulletin # and KHI acts like nothing is wrong with the 00-01 clutches!! Lots of the guys have had it done under warrranty, but can't seem to find the service orders or anything to prove it....

Kawachan is correct. There was a picture of a grainy fax embedded in a post last summer, and it was reputed to be from KHI, but you couldn't tell from the picture.
And, it was NOT part of a service bulletin. It was a CAD drawing of the clutch basket, and there were pencil marks and circles to show where the drilled holes were to be placed. It was supposedly a fax from "the Fact'ry" but couldn't prove it by that piece of paper.

Here's the pic I really wanted ya to see, it is what I got from my local Kaw. dealer, who in turn, got it supposedly faxed to them from KHI.
It's not "official", nor is it a Service Bulletin, but it's the only "documentation" I've ever seen from kawi, about the 00-01 clutches.
