Discussions with Easyrider and ZX-12R.org
I had a lengthy conversation with Easyrider the other day.
We sorted out many, if not all of the political problems which have existed between our websites. Easyrider has posted a thread with regards to this on his site.
It is slightly slanted, so members may choose to read his comments with a grain of salt. Although he and I have different interprutations of what occured, this has absolutely nothing to do with the membership as only he and I truly know what transpired, and we are both happy to leave it at that.
I would hope that this will bring the members of both sites closer together as the love of the machines we own is far more important than minor agruements which have taken place on the two sites.
There is a great amount of information available to the average user on both sites and it is to everyone's benefit to share with each other and to get along.
Hopefully this isnt too boring or old for anybody, but I feel that it needs to be said that I am very pleased that everyone is getting along so well.
So there! now go ride!

Glad you are all so happy. I still have a hard time going there. My personal beef with him is that when I tried to help someone who honestly was asking a question about a PCIII I tried to help. One of his "regulars" got in my face like I didn't know anything about anything (could be true) and made it into a pissing fight. I stayed on topic and replied to the question but was attacked by this idiot. Easy decided it was bad to disagree with one of his worshipers and like is his policy he deleted the entire thread.
He can delete anything he wants, it's his board. But that's not a way to get people to participate, at least ones who care to honestly contribute. I'm not going to waste time to type out an answer to a question only to have it deleted because he didn't like it.
People that know me know I will go out of my way to help anyone and if I do offer information they can count on it being solid. I don't offer my illusions of reality on others and present them as fact like some choose to do. I don't know everything but the little I do know I know well. I've seen things I've posted here and at LAB cut by people that are members on boards and posted there. There's not too much I can do about that. Since his info consists mostly of things grabbed off other places I guess that fits into his policy.
I have nothing against people there and I know a lot of them are here. The member population of most of these sites is a bunch of great people. Each board is a good source of information but out of all of them if I want to amuse myself with an abundance of misinformation I go there and browse. A lot of "fact" posted is by people with something to sell or gain from giving out that information. If you can't see through that then I guess you're fair game to that stuff.
I'm not a big fan of the abundance of ads but again it's his deal so he can do as he chooses.
I have only posted there once since he moved off ezboard and it was on request of one of his regulars that lives here in Daytona. I posted the info about my Bike Week get together. It was an opportunity for some people to get together and thought it was a good idea to not hold the grudge I have against the dictator against his followers. That worked out well and I thank everyone that came.
Easy has posted once on my board, it was an ad for his site. I deleted it.

I know how you feel Dave. Many people feel the same way... I understand the road will always have "bumps" in it... I am just trying to smooth it out a little.

I think I have 3 posts over there. Never liked the "delete whatever" ideaology of that place. Even as a reference, I purposely avoid that site.
Funny how Google always pulls up something unrelated from that site.
