OT: Tool Time!

Wonder if TedG is still around...

Torque Wrench, Electronic, TECHWRENCH, 5 to 100 ft. lbs., 3/8" drive

A new electronic torque wrench designed for the professional technician where digital electronics replace mechanical components. So easy-to-use there is no need to return to the lowest setting at the end of the day. Each button has ONLY one function (power on, select unit of measure, increase fastener torque setting, decrease fastener torque setting). Comfortable, non-slip grip handle. Stand on handle bottom keeps tool from rolling off flat surface. Flex-head ratchet moves 15°. Designed to withstand bump without failure. Splash-proof, protects against water and most automotive shop fluid. Keeps out dirt and grit. Includes storage case.
Accuracy @ 20-100 ft lbs: 2% clockwise, 3% counter clockwise
Accuracy @ 11-19 ft lbs: 4% clockwise, 6% counter clockwise
Accuracy @ 5-10 ft lbs: 8% clockwise, 10% counter clockwise

SWFT, I was about two seconds from dumping the 300 on that thing last friday when my Snappy guy showed up but I couldn't justify it right then, even though it'd replace the five mechanicals I have right now. Damn you, I'm jealous, let me know how you like it.

I used one in a shop before buying my own. Way, way cool. Doesn't do the really big stuff (couple places on the bike where you need more than 100 lb/ft, but handles everything else.
