Chatterbox Frequencies ?
Anybody have a Chatterbox and know the frequencies they use ? I suspect they operate on a range currently allocated by the FCC for another purpose, like FRS, but I would like to confirm that. Thanks for the help.

Yes the Chatterbox FRS X2 uses FRS and gets 2 mile range but the GMRS X1 uses GMRS and gets 5 mile range.

ChatterBox Frequencies
The MultiSport models operate on channels 1&2, the same as CBs. The newer models use the CB frequencies also just more of them. We use our walkie-talkies with them all the time; works great when caged motorist are trying to follow me on my lil scoot!!
OK, what the hell is FRS and GMRS????

FRS Family Radio Service (2 mile range)
GMRS General Mobile Radio Service (5 mile range)
