bike stalled today at 80 mph
Long story short is i just got my 01 ZX12 back on the road after 5 years.I used to get great fuel milage,The bike was bone stock getting 35 MPG.The only change i made was installing a full akro titanium exhaust ( bike does not have a PC3R )lighter wheels, better rotors and brand new spark plugs.I used Seafoam through a couple of tanks of 93 octane, and no change. The bike has 15,000 miles,it is a daily driver, averaging 5k a year.
NOW the bike stalls once in awhile when i let off of the throttle. Also when I turn the ignition on and don't hear the fuel pump, the bike doesent start. So I turn the key on and off until the fuel pump turns on and the bike fires up.This morning on the way to work i was cruising on the highway at 80 mph and the bike stalled......I pulled in the clutch and let it back out and it fired up and i made it to work. When it stalled I saw a light go on in the dash next to FI.Does that stand for fuel injection? I don't have the manual on me,I'll check when I get home.
could it be that my injectors are gunked up?Is the fuel system dirty? Is the fuel filter dirty?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Nick

I would check kickstand switch, maybe even bypass it to see if the problem reoccurs, just connect the wires to one another
