Goodridge and Galfer make the best in my opinion. They look good and hold up very well. Goodrich makes a slightly smaller diameter that gives you a more immeadiate bite if you will. I personally like the Galfers.
The Kevlar lines out there are ok. Vincent has had a really bad experience with them. I have them on a couple of my race bikes with out any issue. That said the stainless braided lines would be my choice all things considered.
I think you will be happy with the feel and power of your braking system.

Another option is Spiegler braided lines.
They happen to be near me and I know one of the guys there, so I have them on my 12R.
I got them put on just a week before a track day at Mid-Ohio and must say that I like them a lot.

One thing with installing steel lines is to mock up the fit first. Make sure the eyes where the banjo bolt fits thru fits flush/flat against the caliper and the master cylinder. Bolt one end usually the master cylinder then test fit and see how the caliper end fits. It may need to be twisted just a little bit so that it fits flush. That way when you bolt it on it wont want to twist the line. You can take a screwdriver and put it thru the eye and give it a twist. Only twist in 1 direction and dont back up. I just lightly clamped mine in a vice with a cloth around it and twisted it just little bit. If you get the Goodridge, there are instructions on the box explaining it..

psyscho I saw that Galfer was coming out with this configuration. Have not actually seen them. But it looks like a really good setup. ZXLNT's advice on the mock up is a good one. The new lines will rub, cut and eat plastic etc. So check the route. If you do use a banjo fitting remeber in the event you have to lossen the fitting and move the kline the compression washers can be reused if you take the copper washer and heat it with a propane torch. The washer will swell up again and can be compressed again!
My luck with Galfer lines has been they fit and don't require tweaking the fittings. The main spot I see problems is at the Master cylinder. Because the new lines will have two lines running up to the master and have a longer banjo bolt. The added line and longer bolt means you need to be mindful of clearance in the handlebar range of motion.
Based on your past posts and eye for detail I am certain that you will probably end up with one of the most sanitary and functional installs out there!

It's Goodridge, not Goodrich but that's what I have, Goodridge carbo, very nice. Bolt on those and a set of HH's and you'd think you doubled your braking power.
The Muzzys are nice too, the ones I've seen have good fit as expected.

I make my own brake lines so...I'm no help to you at all...except that...keep in mind you can get -3 OR -2 lines from some companies...
I actually think the HH pads are overkill but that's just me...they are hard on the rotors and noisy also...
I don't know anyone that has them that doesn't like them after they get used to them though...

I have the smaller size Goodridge lines. Kinda a funny story behind those lines...They are WAY more expensive than the normal lines, and when they came in and I presented my receipt for the lines, the owner of the shop I bought them from was yelling at the guy who ordered them and charged me the regular price. But they did give me the lines...

Psycho - Hey, did you get any response back regarding bodywork? I'm considering buying the street upper, and having the ability to do a 'quck change' from track to street trim. Let me know if you hear anything, and I'll see if I can get an order in at the same time, save a lil bit on shipping/duty.

Wow!!
Thanks to everyone!! Great input and handy advise.
I am in no way unhappy about the brakes on the 12...they are POWERFULL!!
What I do want is the ability to utilize the brakes in a TRACK environment w/o rotor warp. Less effort to slow down will be welcome!
Choices..Choices!!
swft....I have not decided on bodywork yet due to the fact I cannot get in touch w/ Street and Track. They do not answer the phone! Sorry.
Thanks again everyone for your input.

Those guys sell good stuff but their response time sucks at times. I found e-mail to work better sometimes.

Doug sent me a set of goodridge lines custom cut for the 12 for 75 bucks delivered (or somewhere around there).
Im quite happy..they were a bit long...but certainly are alot better than the stockers.
