Anyone remember the Honda CB-1?
Well, my wife has decided to sell her little CB-1.
She isnt shure she wants to ride anymore. Theres so many disrespectfull drivers here in CT now that its a winston cup race on the highways, 70-85 mph all the time. people cutting in and out at 80+ giving each other the finger and brake shots.
Anyway, she is torn on weather to sell it or not. A guy is coming to look at it for his wife tomorrow. Sounds like he wants it.
This may sound crazy but its actually a fun bike to ride. Its 365# and revs to 14,000 rpm. You get that thing way down in a corner at 12,000 rpm and people think your nuts.
I'm over 6 feet tall and 215# without my leathers so its a pig power wise, buy it sounds like your going like hell.

A pretty sweet bike especially for the ladies. By no means a torque monster but it is deceptively quick as long as you keep her in the upper revs!

How much does she want for it? My chickie is in the market for a bike. She's 6'2" tall, about 145 Lbs or so (tall and thin). I live Northern NJ - but I grew up in South Windsor CT, so I know the state WELL.....

OH - BTW, it would be my chickies first bike (that she owned), so a 400 (I think the CB-1 is a 400??) is a good size. Its that or my old Honda CB-750 F SS (big for a first bike).

Cheep, $1800
It was a very advanced bike for 1989. It has a twin spar steel frame, 400cc 4cyl. gear driven cams, 16 valves (they are very small thou).
They were popular for club racing years ago. The class didnt catch on here in the US.
This guy seems really serious about this bike. But if he doesnt want it I'll let ya know.
I just sold the 83 gs1100e last weekend. I'm trying to make more room for some new toys coming soon.
