Do you find yourself.......
Do you find yourself chomping at the bit, waitiing for the next tidbit of information about the war?? I do. I was the same way during the Gulf war, we had a small TV setup and tuned into CNN. Now here at work I can hit MSNBC and CNN on the web. At home I just use the dual picture mode on the TV with one turned to the news, then watch what I normally watch.

No, actually, I'm just worried I'm gonna get into a fight with a protestor in San Francisco because they're blocking off all the streets.

Iwant to hear the news but it pisses me off when they start babbling and saying the same thing over and over again. It did seem a little bit humorous when the anchorman was reporting with a gas mask on.REAl melodramic and any thing goes just to scare Joe public and increase their ratings.

It is utterly amazing how stupid these newscasters are. Although Tom Brocaw was trying to be serious and had the hic-ups, then tried to keep a straight face, was kinda funny.

How do you like how the media tells any dumb fuck with a mind bent on damage ,just where to get the most bang for the buck?Perhaps a little more advertisement on where we maybe more vulnerable!

I watched the Iraq information minister in a press conference early this morning and their Ambassador today in a press conference. It is actully sad to see these grown men standing there making crazy statements and demands that they know are rediculous. But what is trully sad is the obvious fear in their eyes and voices. Is the fear of the United States or is it of their own people or Saddam and or his henchmen?
I can't help but wonder what these people actually thought was going to happen.
I watch the news channels and internet hoping to see this all come to a fast end, and I am amazed at how much the press has been allowed to be a part of all of it. I have to say that they (the press) seem to be following the rules and are being very respectful of the rules of not giving out classified information. I just hope that all of this doesn't further desensitize America to the violence and gore of war. The positive is that the chickenshit little dictators around the world are getting a chance to see what we can do.
My fear is that Saddam has a nuke setting somewhere near Bagdad to set off and kill a huge number of soldiers and civilians. Serious times for serious people.

Z, yea thats my fear also. I hope they are very careful about trusting the Iraqis that are surrendering. They could pull a fast one by carrying somthing on them selves.
I'm starting to think the first raid might have been more successfull than we thought.
Wouldnt it be nice to see all the top people dead and a total surrender. That would spare the civilians in and around Bagdad of weeks of bombing.
As this unfolds and people of Iraq start walking around and realize that Saddam is really gone I think they are going to be very jouvilant.
Do you realize this asshole has been causing missery in that part of the world sence Carter was president.
I am impressed how much more restrained the TV media is this time. They seem to understand thier responsability more this time.
On the other hand its sad to see them using this as a ratings tool.
I guess this is the best reality TV there is.
I hope north korea and Iran are watching this.

I think that they are used to covering wars. I wonder if the Bush daughters became president, if they would attack Iraq also? In all seriousness, it is looking like it may be over soon.
