I have said all I am going to say......
I have said all I am going to say about Bush's reasons for going to war, now that we are officially at war, it is time to get behind him no matter what I think. That doesn't apply to domestic polices. So that being said, here is what I think we should do: First Saddam and his cronies are on the run, so why don't we just take over the command and control facilities, dont even blow them up and the media and call it done. Obviously there will be some resistance but nothing we can't handle. Pave the way in, and say we did it. Maybe all this talk about huge attacks is just to get them on the run and do just what I said. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

The cool part would be if we had control of the palaces, command and control, and media WTF could he do?? He can't talk to the people. Then we just go on a S+D mission to look for anyone tring to muster support for him.

What would be a "hoot" is if the first strike hit its' target. Game over, proceed with Ted's plan.
BTW - Good attitude to have, debate all you want about where we're going before we leave but when the ship sails we all row the same direction till we get there.

Yeah, I'm ambivalent towards the whole Iraq thing: But I do believe in rowing the same way once the boat leaves.
Bush better be right, as the rest of the Arab world is getting pretty pissed, and now the Kurds and Turks are sabre rattling. That wouldn't be good at all.
Well, hell. It's a friggin powder keg anway. Like the Balkans that started WWI. Let it blow up on our terms. Probably gonna happen anyway.
I'm just waiting for the Palenstanians and Israelies to light it up, too.

welp the first evidence of hussein's lies showed up in the form of scud missiles, which were supposedly destroyed
he hasn't reached desperation point yet to use the other things he still has....
hopefully he goes away before he issues that order
granted it would be vindication, but id rather not have a bunch of people gassed or sick to prove a point, the scuds were enough IMHO

The Iraqis had four versions: Scud itself (180-km range), longer-range Scud (half warhead weight, extra range attained by burning all propellant immediately rather than steadily through the flight of the missile), Al Hussein (650-km, attained by reducing warhead weight to 250 kg and increasing the fuel load by 15 percent), and Al Abbas (800-km, achieved by reducing warhead weight to 125 kg, with 30 percent more fuel). Al Abbas could be fired only from static launchers; all of the others could be fired from mobile or static sites. Only the original Scud and the minimally modified version were particularly succesful."

David "Bull" Gurfein told the people of Safwan: "Saddam is done" and launched them in a cheer: "Iraqis! Iraqis! Iraqis!"
