Stock or K&N Air Filters
O.K., what's all this I hear that the stock filters on the 2002 model are flowing more air than the K&N's.....????? Is this true?? I've heard people say their losing HP on the Dyno's by installing the K&N's???? Does anone know anything about this issue. Thanks for everyone's time.

It may be true that simply putting the K&Ns in and putting the bike right on the dyno could lose some hp. Know why? Cause they are soaked in FREAKING OIL!
With some mileage you'll probably see some more hp. Who cares, they filter better than stock...period.
Dont get all bent on 1-2 hp...jeez, with a 160hp motorcycle, you have some to spare...lol

Theres no reason not to get BMC filters. THey will make more power and filter better. K&N's are cheeper but fit like crap, they are fragile.
