Hays Clutch
Hello guys, question are any of u guys running the hays clutch in your ZX12, if so how long did it take to dial it in ? How much $ did u spend getting it setup ? I'm on the fence of keeping my 12, the clutch has been the only thing I don't like about it, any and all input thanks!

I ran one for a while and loved it....My bike is street/strip but more for the strip...I had it set up as a slider with hand clutch if needed....It didn`t take much at all on setup because Tim gives you a basic,very close setup to start with....You need basket and inner hub as a core and $1500 I think...A very trick item for a serious racer....Not too much for just a street bike though...

Good luck on finding a used one...Once someone tries one they usually don`t get rid of it....

I know what u are saying but every now and then someone hurts a motor or something and instead of rebuilding they part and move on, I really dont expect to find a used one but thought I would put it out there..................

I see a spacer is needed as well, the outer basket is only needed for the gear on the back correct?

Ya I hear ya...As I did sell mine because of what you said...Engine damage and needed the money...
Yes he needs the gear from the basket...
