Who's going to Win Daytona?
Well we are just a week away. Who are you all picking?
I would love to see either of the Bostroms win. That said I am thinking that Miladin will be hard to beat if he makes it to the race without a crash. And if Gobert and Duc. doesn't break he should be there at the end.
If I must pick one at this moment it is (I hate the guy!) Mat Miladin.

I think Scott Russell is riding a duc this year. Mr.Daytona will not win but he will be the fastest queer on the track (arrogant sonofabitch). My top three pick's are Eric Bostrom, AAron Yates, Ben Bostrom. Who knows on the high banks in a draft anything could happen.

I think this is the year for the Green Bike. As good as chance as they've had in awhile.

I watched Chandler get on a Honda yesterday. Not that he's going to ride it in the 200 but it just didn't look right. He's a really nice family guy that appeared to bleed green at one time and it was hard enough to see him on a Duc. Now on that silly purple to grey ChromaLusion painted Honda it just don't look right.
Mark, I've always been a fan of Mr. Daytona, not because of his attitude, but because of his ability (and he took a Kaw to victory more than a couple times). His ability on the track was great in his day, and his attitude got him smacked around a couple times down here when he was out showing it off. I'm guessing he's toned it down a bit now and I'm saying that from the last time I saw him here before the crash. But since he's burned all his bridges I doubt there will be a "comeback" that will get him another win. That hit he took on pit row here that sent him to the hospital should have taken him out. If it weren't for the medical team there to pop him back to life we may be showing our respects right now. Or it could have been that "arrogant sonofabitch" attitude that kept him around.
Yawn, it's too early on a Sunday morning for a rant.....

I agree with your assessment of his riding skills completely. My statements were directed at his personality and lack there of. I 've gotten to talk to Chandler, Yates and several others of the AMA guys while managing the racing team, most of the guys had time to talk to you. I had several chances to talk to Russell and he also had an arrogant type attitude like he had his nose in the fucking wind.

So much for our panel of experts! We all overlooked old age and treachery! Conrats to Duhamel. The Honda sweep.

Didn't know Kaw was going to run the 750 instead of the new motor. I think that made a difference for the green bike.

Wasn't my first choice but I did think he had a shot at it.
