Downloading maps

O.K. I went to Power Commanders web-site amd downloaded some maps and my "NOTEPAD" keeps opening the downloaded maps and it is in crazy writing like this #$%^*)(&^^&*%. How do I go about changing the program that opens that kind of stuff up??????

You can buy a small gizmo that allows you to connect directly to your computer. I got mine from Doug Spencer, ~$10, that plus a 9 volt battery and you can download at your desk top.

I drag the maps Directly from the site window to the File window (Where the maps are stored) of my Power Commander!

Go to computer "Settings" then Folder options (I think it's called that...I'm not a puter geek) then click on the .map file and change what it opens into.
You can also just...open the PowerCammander software FIRST then click on the load file button and open the map you want to open...
Page Dave in Daytona if you need better computer instructions than that...I'm still learning these dang things myself
