Really not trying to start something!

We all know that I am not a "Fan" of the current president. But like many of you I was not "Pleased" when I learned that "Turkey" was trying to "HOLD US UP" for more money to use our bases on their land.

Surprise Surprise, They were "NOT" Trying to hold up up, all they were doing is holding our feet to the fire to get us to live up to the agreement we had made with them back in desert storm. Again Jr. is having problems that related to Daddy Sr.

Second, the Fire Fighters who stood with Bush on the grounds of the World Trade center were promised a few things. They are protesting the fact that nothing promised has been delivered.

I posted this because sometimes our own government is giving us propaganda, when the truth is known, it is an entirely different story.

Anyone here "Know" that Turkey was not asking for anything other than what they had been promised 10 years ago?

Ain't that the truth. If the truth was known about EVERY politician we'd have no politicians.

It starts with tort reform. Take the enormous profit out of the lawsuit business and attorneies are looking for a different profession!

I noticed that Vincent wants to hold Bush accountable but not Clinton?

When will everyone get a grip and understand that the President gets to throw out ideas, plans agendas etc. But Congress, the Seante and the Supreme court make and interpet the law and write the checks.

Did Mr. Bushes wife get over a million dollars last year as a lobbiest like Dashel wife did? And that is as a lobbiest for things that Dashel set on the committee, controls the committee and or appoints the committee.

Clinton can Hold his own and only got in trouble when he let someone else hold it Can anyone please separate the fact that I do understand the 3 clintons. The Politician, The President and the Man! I forgive the Man for how he was. He came here to our building and the women almost attacked him and these were conservative people! I then knew why he had such a "Hard" time in dealing with the women! The Politician, he out republican the Republicans and I was even hard pressed to see the difference some times. But as a President, he knew what he wanted to get done bottom line and cut the deals to make it happen!

The reason for the post is I was dissapointed to know that we all had been fed some dis-information again. I had hoped that the government would have been more honest!

Please wait to kill all of the lawyers until after this year when my law suite is over for having to walk on crutches for 3 years and have 8 operations because some worthless Doctors & Hospitals decided to cover up the fact that I had gotten an infection at their hands. Remember, I only died twice during this and was on bypass for 45 minutes once and 9 minutes the second time. Nothing worse than them putting you to sleep while glueing the paddels on your chest to restart you heart!

hrmm we need to convince the judges to actually DO something about frivolous lawsuits. if it is stupid toss it out, next case plz!

but that will never happen...judges used to be lawyers......

right now the government is in a sensitive position. it needs to continue to push itself on the people as the only power in the land, and it realizes that it still has a LOT of citizens who are not sheep. this produces a hard spot with goals and means to those goals.

as such the means are very hush-hush, hence the lies etc, or just not telling. "secret, national security"

rule 1 of politics. a LARGE number of politicians are there not in service to the country, but to their own prestige. it really isn't money from the office salary, as most of them make/made MUCH more then they get paid as gov't employees. and this is the sticking point here, GOVERNMENT employees.

rule 2 of politics: if a politician's mouth is moving, consider the words to be suspect, incomplete, or downright false. take for instance, Al Gore. home state here in tennessee. a 'moderate' democrat, pro gun, pro outdoors etc. once he reaches past the state level, and goes national, his agenda changes, to make him liked by his party, not his constituents. very liberal, pro gun prohibition, environmental wacko. granted the seeds were there, but he played very smart. no-one from around here saw him for what he was. and they got him to national level, and the rest, as they say, is history. and before anyone gets out of shape here, the same is true for republicans. bush sr: "read my (lying) lips! NO NEW TAXES" also, "look at me NRA life member!" the other shoe drops, new taxes, and a cippling (for honest federally licensed gunsmiths/dealers) new law that destroyed many businesses.

rule 3: politics sucks. it also rules our world. hence most of my voting is against and not for. sad isn't it?

i'm sure there are more rules, but hey no need to preach to the choir here. ;P just remember, if they are in washington, in power, they most likely are not altar boys

Yes,Mr. President

A few years ago, they took a poll in D.C. asking all the women if, knowing what they now knew about President Clinton, would they consider having an affair with him.

90% of the women replied "Not again!"

No one on this board is RICH enough to know the real truth! At least SOME on this board use their brains and think for themselves. Put the obvious information together and it becomes very easy to see. I just want to know why people think we can find Bin Laden when we cant even find Eric Rudolf?!?!

Secondly, how would this country feel if Russia invaded the US and deposed the Bush Administration because the KKK bombed the kremlin buildings?!?! That is what we did in Afganistan!!! But, at least now we have regained control of the opium trade back from the taliban!!!

We also KNOW that it was MORE than 1 person involved with the oklahoma bombing!!! That whole organization is still intact! These inflated oil prices are bogus and nothing else said about the energy crisis in California?!?! What about ENRON?!?! It is completely all a prophetic, i just wonder how much time do we have left to enjoy our lives as regular, NON WARMONGER, citizens of the world?!?!?!?!?

Bush Sr. was CIA and put Saadam in power,,,What a hippocrite!!! Just like Noriega was a puppet for our politician drug lords,,,hmmm what happened to him?! Just like the whole Argentina oil crisis crap! We are part of the problem these days, not part of the solution. Korea should have been bombed, but they don't have any oil so we don't really care,,,,,,YET!!! That is until they affect the next shipment of Lexus cars or forbid the new ZX10r!!!!!

What is the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist?!?!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,answer:::: CNN says that the side backed by the CIA is the freedom fighters!!! Freedom of the press,,,,,,hahahaha That joke was proven with the zx12r vs busa!! The zx12r has only lost in the magazines and sales, everywhere else it won.....but Kawasaki didn't out spend suzuki for the "published truth", so we got the truth as suzuki wanted it to be known!!!

As far as sex goes, all men know that power and sex go hand in hand. The more powerful a man, the higher his sex drive. Who can blame Clinton with a wife like Hillary against Monica's lips!!! At least it wasn't some boys like many in Washington. But, everyone is quiet about that,,,,,hmmmm This is the only time in history that sex and power didn't go together?!?! Even though Newt Gingrige got caught at the same time?! They are all dirty!!!

Nice to see people that have some doubt about the "Status Quo"!

I like the 90% said not again! Actually I was gald to see that Wiley person he fooled around with, at least she looked good!

The worse thing I can remember for a person in congress was when this Texas Republican got caught for "Oral" Sodomy with some black person in the bathroom. I just cannot imagine how he explained "Kissing a Black mans Rear when he got home!

I only stated this thread because as little as I believe, this time I was fooled and really got pissed about it!

I will attempt to answer your post again. My damn Gateway piece of shit laptop has siezed twice while trying to post on this thread. Perhaps it is a conspiracy!

Your post above is the old conspiracy and standard liberal answer. It is our fault. First of all neither the US or Mr. Bush created Saddam. The fact is Saddam took control of Iraq and as has been the policy of the US for many years they sat down with the new leader to figure out whetehr they could work with them or not. But again we did not create or install Saddam. Then as has been a tactic and policy of this country and others we chose what appeared to be the lessor of two evils and sided with Saddam against Iran. In reality we let the two counries beat the shit out of each other. Choosing the lessor of two evils have included things such as assisting the Russians and Stalin in the War against Hitler.

Now we have vilified Hitler to extremes. Why not? He was a monstor and Killed millions. So helping Stalin seemes like the right thing to do. We did not install Stalin but we did help him. Now consider the fact that we helped and even allied ourselves with Stalin. A man who is credited with genocide and murder in his country in excess of 100 million people. Now I have not heard FDR or Truman vilified for this. And they should not. Your comment about Russia invading us if a KKK group bombed the Kremlin is cute but not at all the same. If the United States funded, trained, aided, housed, protected and in fact allied itself with the KKK and the KKK did what you said such would be an act of War. And Russia would have to make the decission on whether to go to War with us. Becasue of the magnitude of an all out War they would likely choose some other venue other then mutual annilation. This a big boy world and the power has it's advantage. Bush via the Taliban taught all of the little dictators in the world that we won't tolerate them helping our enemies. You don't have to like it but thats life.

Believe it or not as smart as we all are bad decisions happen. In the case of Panama what happened when we figured out Noriega was a shit? We smoked him. What happedend when the Phillipines wanted to get rid of Marcos? We supported the people of the Phillipines. Understand that our support resulted in a government that made us leave. Saddam is another bad apple that did not turn out as nice as we would have likes. But with or without us he was there and still would be. He is armed with Russian and French equipment not US equipment.

Now certainly I along with many wish we could have eliminated Stalin, and Mao but the reality is that would have ended in the end of mankind. So we did what we could under over and around the table. And guess what Russia is no longer what they were and China is faced with a country hooked on capitalism.

The questions that pop up on Korea is relavent except because of there pocession of a nuke changes the entire game. We can't merely squash them or run them over with our military might. So now we must play the diplomacy game. It sucks but it is reality. Before you go bombing people you need to remeber who they are, who there allies are, and what weapons they have. And North Korea did not develop this technology and weapon system on Bush's watch, they did so on Clinton's watch. As for the the Oklahoma bombing it was a terrible thing. Do I believe they have all of the players no. But what do you expect Mr. Bush to do about it? The justice system and FBI could pass out daily press releases so that we all feel good and the culprits involved could read the releases to stay ahead of the law. Instead some place some where people are plodding looking for what and who. But to blame this on the President or somehow compare this to Saddam having weapons of mass destruction is nuts.

Regarding South America, I have no doubt things have happened there that are wrong. But to blame individuals breaking the law on the entire government and country is nuts.

It definitely appears that you are a conspiracy kind of guy. Probably worried about your mail, phone calls, etc. being monitored. thats to bad but oh' well.

Regarding your Clinton comments I find them amusing but pretty rediculous. According to you if a man is successful, agressive and driven, he must be a womenizer. First of all Clinton had only two jobs in his life so I am not certain of his drive. I don't know you from adam, but I do know myself and many other men like myself. I am certainly not Bill Gates, but lets just say that I don't have to worry about tomorrow or next week or next month etc. when it comes to a paycheck. I own and operate seven companies. I have been known on more then few thousand occasions to drive a square peg in a round hole, run people over in the way etc. My drive is relatively high you might say. And for what it worth I have turned down numerous attempts and offers of financial support by various individuals and groups wanting me to run for political office. I say all that only because according to your comments I would need to be a womanizer. In reality I have been married 28 years and have been faithful to my wife for all those years despite the many opportunities that I could have cheated. And I have many friends and associates with similar stories.

What is the truth is it is people like yourself that condone and enable people like Mr. Clinton by saying it's OK, it's understandable, I can't blame you etc. It isn't OK and it isn't alright. Honor, integrity, ethics, commitment etc. are not words that honorable people just scoff at. You keep making Clintons Impeachment about Sex. It was about perjury. He lied under oath. You and I go to jail for it, he got 10 million or more for book rights. Newt Gindrich was burned for the same kind of a deal. Anumber of politicians including John Kennedy were womanizers, had affair, Barney Frank had his little Gay affair with one of his pages. While these people may have shown poor judgement, bad morals etc. they did not break the law. Clinton attempted to use his power and political influence, the Arkansas State Patrol etc. to seduce Paula Jones. That is called sexual harrassment. If I ask one of my employees for sex, it is sexual harrassment. And if I lie under oath about it, I will have then comitted perjury and it then automatic go to jail, lose the case I am toast. Bill Clinton instead gets to play the I'm the victim, I'm a man, they are bad women routine. And with the assitance and blessings of people like you he ruined the lives of the women that turned him down. And you justify this by saying he is a driven man.

You see this country as the center of or at the root of all that is bad. I see this country at the center and root of what is good. Your glass is half empty, mine is half full. You are afraid to drink from your glass as you will run out or it will be poisened, I drink from it at my liesure knowing that it will not ever really be empty. It is safe to say we disagree and there is very little liklihood that we will ever agree.

Well ok we helped Saddam come into power, yeah kinda we sold him weapons, and sold Iran weapons. Was a good thing they kept fighting and we make a nice profit. We also helped Afghanistan fight off the russians, still dont know how they came to conclusion we were just trying to kill all the muslims, we fuckin helped them. Yeah we cant find Bin Laden, but were getting alot of his people, the one high on the food chain. He is not the matermind anyway, was just the starting money. In my opinion I think Bush is doing what he feels is best for our country, not just self. He pretty much slapped the oil industry in the face when he pulled a 1.5B dollar research project to make more fuel efficient SUV's and gave it to the guys doing fuel cell research. That doesnt fit in with the normal "Bush is just watching out for his oil buddies" I hear so much. Clinton, well I gotta say he had a relatively easy presidency, US economy completly over inflated (made him look great), but no worries of russia, Iraq had just been beaten down. No real problem spots. But the foreign policy he had was (IMO) fucked. That agreement with N Korea was a joke, as we now see. I kind of like Bush's hard line stance. We (again IMO) are becoming a country of weak people. We should not and can not stand by while every little piss ant country that wants something starts shit in hopes of negotiating a deal (talking about N Korea here). We are not just a military might, we also are the biggest contributers to the world when it comes to food. But alas the world knows we will never cut anyone off from any aid, no matter what because even though they will talk shit, threaten, do whatever they feel like, too many people here will complain and protest and bitch and whine that we cant let people starve. I think its about time someone started calling out some of these little guys and pressuring them. Maybe we will start to show we are a superpower not a bunch of wheenies.
