GOZR first off I will say that I too do not agree to singleing out someone due to their nationality, be it French of Middle Eastern. I do not take shots at people until I feel I have been attacked or that my country has been. There are ignorant people in every culture.
No I don't want to see Americans go to war over this, but has Sadam shown that he has even come close to meeting the requirements set for him, No! He divulges a tiny bit ever time he is pressed and nothing more, then sets out to claim innocence.
I am also in areement with Zhooligan when he says that when in a foreign country it would be wise to pick your battles carefully. If you question yourself about being here feel free to leave. No one is stopping you, beecause I'm a firm believer of people being in the US because they believe in the ideals of the country. If that is not the case for some then go somewhere else because this country has lost a lot of lives helping others and protecting what we believe. One of which is freedom of choice, and the ability to speak out which you seem to be able to enjoy unlike those in Iraq. But to sit here in this country and call us "Bunch of Fuck face pussies Americans shit they are.. " that's just setting yourself up to get your ass beat in a big way.

We also lost a lots of lives beleiving in the same ideals it is for that reason that our revolutions have been influented by each others.
But the way the americans talk about freedom it works well with other countries than Europe because Europeans ( west ) also are free to say even nore what we think to ANY ONE even the law and polices.. And what i saw for the past 14 years in U.S is that freedom in the U.S is slowly becoming an ideal and a dream a decline of the freedom of expression and been.. That why i can speak out load and i'll not shut up because i'm a free man in a free country coming from an other free country.
For god sake i wanna drink a beer with out a paper wrap on the street, i wanna cross the road where ever i want, i wanna pee behind a tree, i wanna flip the bird to a cop,I wanna see naked women on tv with out censore , i wanna hear people saying fuck on national tv,i wanna go on national park with out paying a dime, i want to see peoples smock at a bar, i wanna go in a pub a 4 am if i want too and etc.., like i was use to have.
What i see is that the sens of the word Freedom is slowly changing and peoples are not even aware of it..

Saw this today & just had to share:
A Marine responds to a French Army Officer......
In light of the French stating that they would Veto any action against Iraq that we may propose before the Security Council of the UN, I thought this email from a US Marine serving in Bosnia would put things in perspective.
From a Marine in Bosnia. Note the signature, but read it last.
A funny thing happened to me yesterday at Camp Bondsteel (Bosnia). A French army officer walked up to me in the PX, and told me he thought we (Americans) were a bunch of cowboys and were going to provoke a war. He said if such a thing happens, we wouldn't be able to count on the support of France. I told him that it didn't surprise me. Since we had come to France's rescue in World War I, World War II, Vietnam, and the Cold War, their ingratitude and jealousy was due to surface at some point in the near future anyway. That is why France is a third-rate military power with a socialist economy and a bunch of ####### for soldiers. I additionally told him that America, being a nation of deeds and action, not words, would do whatever it had to do, and France's support was only for show anyway. Just like in ALL NATO exercises, the US would shoulder 85% of the burden, as evidenced by the fact that the French officer was shopping in the American PX, and not the other way around. He began to get belligerent at that point, and I told him if he would like to, I would meet him outside in front of the Burger King and beat his ass in front of the entire Multinational Brigade East, thus demonstrating that even the smallest American had more fight in him than the average Frenchman. He called me a barbarian cowboy and walked away in a huff.
With friends like these, who needs enemies?
