temperature gauge rise to 11oclock
my 00zx12r while riding i noticed my temp gauge keep going to 11 0clock.next i felt the bike skipping in third gear.when slow down the bike shut off.tryed to crank again battery dead.i checked my radiator hoses all was soft no water in them. could this be thermstadt or my water pump.thank for help

I think your thermostat has failed...I don't think it would be the water pump failure, if it was you would have also lost oil pressure.., and the oil light would have come on.
Or you have a huge air bubble in the system...try burping the system first, if that doesn't work, i'm pretty sure its the thermostat.
