Did you soak the fibers? If so, did you ride the bike around the block for a bit? My clutch always used to stick for a little bit right after swapping out the stack because the extra oil on the fibers caused them to stick. A couple laps around the block usually spins the extra oil off. If that doesn't work, did you properly set your clutch lever free play?

Also, what weight oil are you using in your bike?

Sorry, I didn't see it in the rest of the thread. What thickness steels did you install in the clutch? Did you install the 2mm steels or the stock ones? If you installed the 2mm steels, how many steels and how many fibers did you install?

Sorry, I don't remember what the overall stack height is supposed to be. I only remember that if you installed the 2mm steels, you need to leave out one of the fibers, otherwise the stack is going to be too thick.

I reread through the rest of the thread. You said you ordered the parts, but you didn't specific which parts you ordered. Did you order the parts individually, or did you order the clutch kit from Muzzys?

If you ordered the parts individually and just ordered the thicker (2mm) steels, you will need to leave out one of the fibers and readjust your lever freeplay to compensate for the lower stack height.

Sorry, I'm confusing the issue here. I just noticed that you already mentioned that your stack height is within spec.

how would you leave a fiber out . That would mean you have steel on steel

If you think about it, both steels are connected to the same hub, so they wouldn't be really rubbing against each other. But, in your case, you have the stock steels, so that's not an issue.

you should not have any groves if everything is new hell my hub is beat from the many runs on it and it still dissenguages ok. it is on the redo list for next year though.
i went to the 2.0 steel setup and had to add a 1.4mm agenst a 2.0 to get the stack hight on.

so after all of this no one mentioned the anti chatter ring that some have one and others two. i my self removed the "small" plate and took it all out amd made them all the same. it worked to dissenguage and slit on one clutch and not on the other one.
they may help to disenguage due to stiction.
