Brake Bracket VH Style & Step Hindle!

The bracket over the Arm is a tight fit, but I added the 8 mm bolt for insurance. When the weather gets better, I will remove the arm and weld a Bracket about 6 inches long 1/4" thick and about 1.25 Inches wide! with about 4 holes, I should have all postitions covered

Ready for an Oil change and testing next weekend
That Brake disc is the Ferodo Full Float!

Looks pretty good VH. Too bad it was necesary for you to do yourself. I got my Hindle this week. Same as yours. Did you use any gaskets or sealer on your setup?

MM, First, you are correct, it does have a "Green color" I guess that comes from the Grapes Seeds they use as part of the Oil Package! Motul E-Tech 100. All syn, but 1/2 the price of 300V

I am still surprized that no one jumped on me for the 2 drips on oil on my pipe!

Extreme, I posted this on Labusas also , but "I keep a supply of gaskets! I mount them with the split the Pipe. I also use high temp Silicone also, how else will the pipes com apart that easy?" I also said if your "S" Pipe does not fit easily, then Squeeze the "Oval" part of the end of the collector near the weld in soft jaws vice in about 1 inch to return the round retenetive memory! Then easy fit! The connection is Very Tight!

Kevin, I was just surprized I wasn't given both barrels for the oil on the Pipe! The Bike is dirty and it is too cold to clean it like I want to! I did this just before the Snow Storms and Now I can clean My shop and tool Boxes over the weekend since I cannot do 1 thing outside (You know whatr I am talking about!) I have to clean my Work Bench so I can pull my Drill Press forward to drill, Tap and install stainless TIME CERTS in the Bars used to mount the foot Pegs / front of the race seat!

I will be doing some testing on the 22nd between Stock Boots, Original Stacks, New Stacks and a set with a less than smooth finish! I will post the results, Good Bad Or Ugly!
