Need a favour from someone in the US...
I need someone to buy me a calling card. It has to be a specific one... Now I will first tell you why.... Up here in the "Great White North" the government has for some reason decided to block many 1-800 #'s to the US... for a while they charged us a fee... you could dial 1-880 and they would ding us 10cents a minute to call the toll free #... now it's gone altogether.
This makes it a bitch for me to try and call different places in the US. I found a way around this... This summer on our Laguna trip I picked up a calling card from "Linq Telecom". The card works up here and I can access the 1-800 #'s with it. I dont care about having to pay for the calls etc... some companies only provide 1800 #'s and it's beginning to become a real hassel calling places.... So.... the card I have is almost out.. only has 7 minutes left on it.. definetly not enough to get stuck on hold calling someone so I need another. Since I know this SPECIFIC card does work I need someone to mail me one, or two even.
I'll pay whoever will do this... so let me know what ya want and we can work it out via email. I got the card from either a Pilot Truck Stop or a TA Travel Center (cant remember which)...
The card looks like this:
It is a $10 card. Says on the front of it: "Premier Calling Card Domestic/International No connection Fee LINQ Telecom Inc."
Hopefully someone out there can help..

I already did.. they only sell from retail US outlets... I called them and they said mostly truck stops.

Hey Fish,
If you can't find it let me know. I have a couple of truck stops near by and I can swing by and see if they sell the one you are talking about.

is there an option for recharging the card? i know a lot of them do allow that, you may be able to call their customer service number and add some time?
if not i'll take a look in the T&A next time i go to nashville

I had to go to LA last weekend and I looked at the places I stopped at.No luck fish ,sorry. That's Lower Alabama (LA)!
