LP's TL1000R Project Bike

It's on ebay and been at my house for the last month. A friend of ours won the bike and my sons detailed, tuned it and changed all fluids. It's ready to ride.
I rode it and was surprised how stout it was, great brakes too.
It's unique and has alot of good parts for sure.

Pics can be seen on ebay, search for TL1000R or Lockhart Phillips.

Ya know, I've never even ridden one of those. Curious as hell, but never had the opportunity.

I don't know if you guys got a chance to read the specs on the bike but Team Suzuki engine builder Keith Perry installed stock bore high comp pistons and done his headwork magic besides some other goodies. The bike is strong, by far the fastest twin I've ever ridden and it's a head turner for sure.

Sorry HDL, if we'd still had it you could have taken it for a spin.
A bike collector from Utah called and bought it over the phone. He tried to buy it fron LP's but they would not sell it to him. I guess there was more money to be made by selling raffle tickets.
It was really a cool bike though.
