I got this email from Beans today, thought I would share with you all....sounds like he is doing good...
Hey Fish did you all ever do what we talked about?
Hello all! Another chance to send some emails out. My
unit is scheduled to be coming into Doha for a few
times over the next couple weeks, so hopefully I'll
get a chance to send some more emails out over the
next couple weeks.
Bush is looking at a matter of "weeks", not months,
for a head-on confrontation with Iraq so I've been
told to "expect" to be gone longer then previously
expected. That's the bad news, the only good news is a
lot of boredom can lead to self improvement so I'm
getting into some of the best shape of my life. I
should be looking like Vin Diesel when you all see me
next wuhahaha.
I've seen some friends from WSU back in Washington
arriving into the camp as of late. I guess a lot of
students are having to disenroll since their units are
getting activated. Warning orders are coming in on a
Monday, with activation orders coming on the Friday of
the same week, meaning a lot of people are getting one
week notices before shipping out. I just read an email
from my roommate back in WA that his sister is being
sent back over here for another year and she just got
back to the states from here about six months ago. I
dont know what you all are hearing back there but its
not looking good from this side of the Internet
carpet. I said I wouldnt convey all my worries and
fears when I emailed everyone so we'll just see what
happens.
I hope everyone is doing well with whatever you are
doing. Wish I could be out riding, there are some guys
here who ride and we talk stories, but mainly they all
ride Harleys and I dont think those can be considered
real motorcycles, therefore it's even harder to
believe what they are telling me are real authentic
motorcycle stories. I miss my 12, hope your taking
good care of it Dino!

.... hey, watch it! Harleys are real bikes, only they burp and fart their way thru life like most of their owners, instead of purring and screaming like most others. I own one too, (and ONLY one ... who can afford two?).

What's worse then war? Stuck in some God forsaken country without your bike and forced to hang out with H-D owners. GAG!
