03zx6rchick and her new toy!

Just got it today, it handles extremely well. Very light but stable after I rode it my bike felt like a sled.

Looks nice in silver. And the young lady looks good in jeans and leather!

sweet! now that's a good pair of bikes to own. complement each other well i'd think. tho i still need to adjust to the 6's styling. can't quite wrap my visual taste buds around it yet. mind u, the very visually appealing rider sure as hell makes up for it!

i'm surprised the 6 doesnt look smaller next to the 12. feels WAY smaller when u sit on it.

Worm~hole - Yes, the slipper clutch is a direct bolton for the R model. Think that was covered in one of the brit reviews.

If you haven't ridden with a slipper clutch you will be very suprised and happy. My MilleR came with one from the factory. You have to get your brain to believe it works, and once you are over that part it is pretty nice not having to worry so much about throttle blipping etc. Gets back to having just so much to spend on a lap and the slipper clutch lets you save that energy and attention for something else!

Started modifications already. Had to get rid of the rear "mudflap" and the front turn signals and front wheel reflector.

Pic of front fender with the reflector removed, you will be able to replace the reflector with the spare parts of the fender.

That is so sweet of you to say something like that. Kind of caught me off guard. ;-) Let me tell you, life has not always been this good. I have definitely been blessed. Take care and be safe.

I'm 6'5" and 260 lbs. riding position is not soooo bad, the pegs are HIGH with a slight sweep towards the rear. Even if you are trying to sit back on the seat you'll slide forward up on the tank again.(kinda makes it a bit uncomfortable for ya boy's) Most of the weight is on your wrists, this is a true racing position but not to bad. Knees are a little cramped until you get used to the position..over all if I had the money I would definetly get one. Transitions into the turns are effortless, there is not any apparent on/off jerk of the throttle, it feels carburated. One hell of a machine, I haven't got it up in the rev's yet, still braking it in, but it's spunky!!!

Yeah when I actually set on the RR at the bike show I found it very roomy for a 600. But the seating position put a hell of a load on my arms and wrists. I didn't actually throw a leg over the 6R but I would assume it is every bit as roomy. I am really pleased with the 6's look. It is pretty clear by all accounts that Kawi has put together a complete package here.

I believe first adjustment is after 500 mi, anything after that I'll have to check the owners manual.

DRK_SYD...cool, ya' got me by 3" in height, but close enough for large people comparison...I've only managed a showroom seat on one and haven't ridden it yet...you're right about the wrists, but this wouldn't be a San Diego to Laguna bike for me anyway...it'd be a track/nearby mountain road bike...I hope my dealer will let me ride his demo around the nearby twisties ...

...I liked the way 6rchick cleaned up the bike...good job, 6rchick!:...one can only hope the 10R is just as awesome.....Kawasaki looks like its about to kick some azzzzz

The silver really looks good. I am still going to wait and see all the colors at my local dealer before buying.

My 12 is (the acknowledged slower) red, so it's either silver or black for me...I know how much of a pain in the arse keeping black clean can be. So, I'm leaning(pun noted) toward the chic silver.

I should be able to score a complete set of green plastic from someone at Loudon. Or Canada. Those are two consolations of living in New Hampshire.

Man, I've got to cut down on these stream of conciousness posts. Sorry, all. :P
