Kawasaki's Eric Bostrom finished day two of the three day Laguna Seca test with the fastest time of the day and of the test thus far. Bostrom lapped the facility at 1:26.215, faster than the time put in by Anthony Gobert yesterday. Kawasaki is experimenting with several different engine configurations on their Superbike, all with increased capacity.
Gobert put in a 1:26.471 today.
Honda's Miguel DuHamel spent much of the last two days on his 600RR but did board the Superbike this afternoon, logging a fast time of 1:26.891.
In Supersport news, the Yamahas of Jamie Hacking and Damon Buckmaster logged fastest DOT times. Hacking pulled off a 1:28.808 and Buckmaster a 1:29.236.
The test continues tomorrow. The weather outlook is good.

Yep.....
I hope Eboz kicks ass this year and wins the championship. That boy is a ridin' fool, I wish him the best of luck this year.

In my opinion, It would be good for the sport if he does. It would be really fun to see Eric and Ben battle down to the wire. And if they don't crash bad opr get hurt I wouldn't be suprised. As fast as he is, I don't believe Gobert can't put it together for the whole season.
I'm getting excited for March already!

Man, hard to believe that Gobert has been doing this for what, eight years? Despite my earlier misgivings, I think it's gonna be a great year in AMA Superbike. The rule changes have certainly stirred the pot.
