Some of you have received an email that is from zzx175@msn.com That is me, and I never sent it.
What do I do to correct this?
As I stated in reply at Swfts post, I do not have ZX12Girl or Bagster in my address book.
I run Norton Anti-Virus with the Live Update feature. I should have the latest definitions with this feature.
Anyone that can help, it will be appreciated. Ozzy.
Anyone that got bit by this, sorrrrry. 
UPDATE: I just ran a complete scan of my PC and it came back clear, nothing detected.

Its possible that you didnt send the mail man....someone told me they received mail from my name...yet it was indeed never sent from my aol account.
The individual also said he got a few emails from other board members as well. It is possible to change the "sender" of an email very easily.

YCIS, that was me. I got that hahaha the other nite too. Been about a weeks since I got one, though. Kinda funny that we all are getting the same emails. Must be somebody from the board that has all of our emails stored in their computer. I recieved one from zzx175 about two weeks ago. I just delete them and roll on now.......

I still get that HaHaHa! every once in a whiletoo, but about 2 weeks or so ago I was getting Klez about 20 times a DAY. Luckily Norton caught it. I normally get maybe 5 emails a day total. They finally stopped. Now I "block sender" whenever I get this crap. I gotta believe it's from one of those spammers trying to sell me a DVD recorder or whatever. FWIW.
Had somebody hack into my 'puter a few days ago too, I need to put up a new firewall, anysuggestions?

If you put your email address out on messageboards like this and others you will get bombarded with virus attachments. Just on one address, and I have several, my anti-virus software has successfully captured and quarantined 15+ email attached viruses from various sources since January 1st, that's about one per day.. Make sure you have a good anti-virus program running all the time and it's up to date. The latest Norton seems to work well and you can get an "evaluation" copy (full release) on Kazaa to try before you buy it.

u should see what a "webmaster" address does to u. since that's inevitably an address that every domain has, it's an easy target. plus we got it right on the homepage of the site. get TONS of virii on that address. don't bother us tho. they'r easy to spot & dont break ya unless ur naive enough to open the attachments.

what gets me is why was the zzx person being helpful to me?
there were no attachments, just the link to ebay.
had to be someone who reads our board and knew I was looking for a screen?

bagster, I sent you the email about the screen on ebay.
I DID NOT send the emails that SWFT,ZX12Girl,kawachan and I am sure others have received with my address on it.

If you post your email address anywhere, on this board, on a web page, etc... there are apps called web crawlers that will harvest them and use them for whatever they want.
