i got a mail from that guy (I think it was him) when i was in the market for my cox radiator protector he sent me a notice that one was on ebay and included a link to the ebay page, but no attachments
I bought the grille.
I am still curious about the zzx guy, I even looked in our member database and didnt find him.
I just figured it was some site with spyware checking in on my online shopping and noticed I was looking at grilles and provided the ebay link to me by stealing my email addy off my computer. Technology is wonderful

Shit! that is my email address!! Now what do I do? I run Norton Anti-virus and it shows no infections! I do the Live Update so the definitions should be current,HELP!!!!!!!!
I dont have ZX12Girl or Bagster in my address book if that is a clue to help find out what is going on.
Bagster, glad you got the radiator grille and hopefully not a virus or something along with the message.

ozzy, I had a similar issue that turned out to be a worm. If you look at my dewormed post on bikeland it mentions the specific worm. Swft downloaded a specific patch from Norton Utilities off of the internet to fix it.

ozzy, it doesnt mean it came from your computer. many of these virii take an email from your address book or inbox at random & stick it in the FROM header. so it prolly came from someone you emailed once or who emailed you once. that leave alotta possibilities. u can usually get a partial idea of who it came from by examening the headers, since some of them u can fake, & some u cant

yeh i've gotten spam from myself before.
a friend apparently has had a much harder time of it, his address is being massively used, he gets 100 or so 'undeliverable message' emails a day....
