Dave yes a dial up. I'm not going to spend $40 a month. I don't use it often enough.

Well I'd go with Earthlink. I travel, a new city nearly every week, and have to connect wherever I go. I get very good service from Earthlink, never a busy, fast connections, online customer service, all first rate. I was worried because I started with Sprynet, then Mindspring bought them, then Earthlink bought them so I thought I'd get lost. Just the opposite has happened, I think it's better. My input, for whatever it's worth.

Dave

Check this out!

John, the ISP's are tested and rated each month.

Check here:
http://www.nwfusion.com/research/topisp.html

Lots of good info about call completion, average speed, DNS resolution times, etc.

AT&T Worldnet is consistently the best national ISP.
Earthlink is #2 or #3, and AOL is rarely in the top few.

Ameritech and BellSouth are the leading 'regional' ISP's.

When you look at the charts, you will see the ISP's listed in 3 columns. The column on the left is National ISP's, the column in the middle is for Regional ISP's and the right column is for Business Class ISP's.

Am I hooking you up or what?!?!
