It may feel like that due to the right grip being a little larger in diameter than the left one because of the throttle tube.

i had that problem when I first got my bike, as it turned out, I had done a wheelie, an came down with the handle bars twisted, it twisted the forks in the triple clamp......just loosened the bolts straightened them back and tightened them back down...

Alignment
HDL is right. I had the same trouble after an altercation with an antelope in Colorado. Undo both upper and lower triple clamps, straddle the front wheel and twist the handle bars back and forth until things are lined up properly. Mine now tracks straight hands off and the bars sit evenly when running in a staright line.

DON'T go by JUST the MARKS on the swingarm!!!
I don't think Ive seen one that has the marks "right" yet!?!?!?
Use a tape measure on each side of the bike from the pivot point (front of swingarm outside of the frame) and check if the marks are even close...I think the closest Ive seen to date is about a 1/4 of a mark off...
Also...do a search here AND on LABUSA for threads on "the string method" of aligning the rear wheel ...
