Print Room Pictures

How many times have we all seen the "Red X" or just not see the pictures. Wannabe may have answered the question. He could not see the pictures (Like Mr. Muzzy). He Joined the Print Room and then can see all of the pictures.

Is it possible that you must be a member of the print room to see their pictures? Maybe some of the Host are doing this? What do you think?

I can see the images, and I'm not a member.

Try refreshing the page containing the images.

Better yet, get some space on a free server somewhere. Just make sure that they allow image linking.

Does your ISP allow you to create a small site? That could be an option for you.

Very often, when you do not see the picture, you can right click on it, choose "properties" and then copy the URL that appear. After you pasted this URL in your browser and pressed on "enter", you will possibly see the picture. It worked for me many times, particularly when the picture is hosted at printroom.
Speaking of printroom, does any of you noticed their message which is: "Image hosting for 3rd party sites (Ebay, LJ, etc.) will be discontinued on 2/1/03. Photo sharing, albums, printing and other services will not be affected." Is it possible that, after this date, we won't be able to use them anymore to post pictures on discussion forums?

I use MSN to post mine. It's free, I don't have to be a member and it doesn't have a "tag line" on the top or bottom of the pic. Dave turned me on to it, but unlike all his pic posts, mine will occasionally "disappear", leaving the dreaded red "X".

I have go back to MSN, copy the pics "properties" again and edit my post by pasting the "properties" (image url) where the old url was. Sometimes it doesn't appear to be any different the what was originally there, but it shows the pic again. Sometimes I don't have any problems. I don't have a clue why it happens. Still, for the most part it works.

My SBC Yahoo account can store over 500 MB of pics, but I haven't figured out how to post from there yet.

I see that Bikepics also is against third party links. Still see alot of links that work with Bikepics though.
