OFF TOPIC, baseball card display
I built a display frame for an antique post card as a gift at xmas to give to a friend. His girl friends brother saw it and wanted something similiar to display his prize baseball card. I have no idea what the card is, but he claims it is valued at $2200, is that even possible?
I figured that a card of that alleged value should have a shrine to display it in, so I made this display frame with thoughts of the Lincoln Memorial.

The card shown in the display is my grandsons "rookie" card.

yeah OZZy that is very possible, I have heard of some very rare cards going for up to 10 g's, and even more with autographs

I have a couple in the 300-500 range, and I have seen them way higher then that, just think about a Mint condition Michael Jordan card, it would probably be right around there.
Oh I have a Phil Simms rookie card if anyone is interested?? make offer....

I have LOTS of old cards from back when trading was innocent and people weren't out printing their own shit at home. One of my good friends has a '62 Mickey Mantle all-star in MINT shape. About 10 years ago it was worth $2k. I can't imagine what it's worth now that he kicked the bucket
