Pics of Muzzy Clutch, Falicon Basket & Frank Adams Swingarm
I know that times are hard, but Muzzy, you need to rehire the Parts Washer

Please note the second Picture still has all of the Shavings from the drilling of the aluminum!
Great Welding on the Rivets on the Billet Basket from Falicon

Frank Adams new style of adjustor! You only need "1" and you will not gouge yourself when walking past the bike!

The interesting thing is that I drilled the entire distance of the Hole on the sleeve to make sure it had an Oil Supply! Well Martin Luther King Birthday will be this Monday and I know how I will celebrate it

How much is the swing arm? Any other parts you have to order for it. Bearings etc?

This is my "Old / Stock" Swingarm! so the rest of the arm is the same as your Stock arm! He charges $200 for a complete arm, but you then must buy all of the Bearings. Since I can get within 1/2" of the "0" of the original, why do I need 2 arms? Including Shipping $450 BTW, ANGIE Thanks

Do you have a pic of the drilled sleeve? I'd like to see more examples of this...
Also, I've seen some drilled hubs (bergie?) where the "teeth" of the inside of the steel plates engage the hub. Anyone direct me to a pic of this...? How many holes? Spacing? Effect?
THANKS!

There was a complete article on this at Labusas a while ago and is how I did my parts. I just lookes at my sleeve and I just drilled down to the Oil Hole also. After doing the work myself and buying the kit, I would Buy the Kit!

Both the basket installs and hub installs I've done also appeared as if they were straight from the machining process; definitely not clean. We threw them in the parts washer and went over them with a small wire brush before installing.

Vince what are you going to do for a finish on that arm? Paint, powdercoat or polishing?

Bergie, as usual, you are on it! At first, I was going to Use Black Epoxy paint, and was more serious about the High Pigment content Wheel paint from Eastwood in PA! After thinking about it for a while, I do not like how aluminum looks when it had dark paint and gets scratched! A lot of on and off the stand and changing Gearing will do this. I hate Shinney parts, specially ones that you must polish, and being "PO", I cannot afford Powder coat! so I now plan to paint it with Platinum Epoxy Paint. It is a Gray Silver paint that looks like the arm does now! I would use Silver Epoxy, if I could find it! This way, when it gets scratched, no one will notice! I was also thinking about removing all of the paint and having a friend spray it with Urethane. What Ever I do, I only have 3 days to get it done and harden. MLK Jr's Birthday is supposed to be in the 40's, sounds like great weather to work outside to me. I have several friends with very nice Garages, but I got to put it together to take it there and then there is not reason to take it there!
What were you thinking??
(Maybe Muzzy never had a parts washer and it is beneth the station of the person doing the machining to rinse off the part?) I plan to post a pic of my Hub and theirs. Theirs has a little straighter lines in the hub center, but I have a little deeper grooves in the hub to catch the oil and send it out!

OK Vincent- I guess we have decided to pick on you this month. The pic's did not appear, however I just pulled a clutch kit out of stock and it also had alluminum chips from the machine process. The bad news is that the parts washer is working and drawing a pay check. The good news is that I was actually on this site and saw your comments. I have already corrected this. It would be more effective if our customers would contact us direct so that we can catch this type of error ASAP. Never said we were perfect, But we do care.

Perfect! Thanks Rob. We DO appreciate your efforts in keeping up with the forum and how it relates to customer service. For me it's not a real issue having to throw new parts in the parts washer, as I would do it anyway, but for a lot of folks that dont have a parts washer it would be nice if they shipped "ready to install". Thanks again!

I would drop the coin to powdercoat it. We tried to paint one already with less than desireable results (scratches easily). I went with the polished finish but wouldn't recommend it to anyone that washes their bike with a hose because it's hard to maintain the finish (constantly needs polishing). Fortunately my bike rarely ever sees water so it's not an issue... If I were to do it again I would get a black powdercoat finish that hides dirt well and will hold up without scratching.

"WOW" Shut my mouth! Actually I used to call anyone when I had a problem. I "ALWAYS" Heard, You are the FIRST Person that ever had this problem. Even I can get tired of beating my head against the wall. There is no question you "Care", but how big is a problem, How long has it existed, ONLY YOUR Customers Know for sure. I could have called and maybe even spoken to you about my concerns and you would have addressed them I am Positive of that. BUT, you know for every one person that speaks, there are 10 that will not. For every time I speak, there may be even 20 people that would not speak, this way, they all spoke, and I would bet money, that no one else will received parts like some of us have received. I would also imagine that if someone in your shipping department thinks in person is the same as Personal signature, that they know different now.
I plan more purchases from you directly. I know that I will be better served next time. Again, from me and the rest of your customers, we do appreciate what you have done and will do to make our Kawasaki's the fastest bikes our "Pocket Book" can afford. Thank you Mr. Muzzy!

Make SURE you tighten the axle Vincent...Some of the people doing swingarms are going back to the rear/pull adjusters because...they like seeing people rolling around on the ground holding they're leg
No REALY...some people have complained about the adjuster bolts bending from being pushed-on instead of pulled
I just installed a 3-9 from COBY ADAMS on a ZX12 yesturday...it has the OUCH-type adjusters on it
John's chain-side adjuster IS "slightly bent"...and...we DO tighten the axle...
No big deal...it's just "one of those things"...

Thanks Kevin, believe me, the thought has crossed my mind and the "Longer" the adjustor, the better / easier it can bend! I already use a torque wrench on the axle nut (Most of the time, Now all of the time!) I really appreciate your second thought because it will be something I am watching for!
