So, how much did you ride yesterday ?
230 miles, good group and a brisk pace. We ran the curves of central Florida....... both of them.
Actually when you string this route together it's a lot of smooth winding country roads and actual hills.

Actually yes. Sugar Loaf Mountain (route circles it on the lower left and it's not much of a mountain) is the second highest place in Florida, just over 300 feet.

About 4 miles total. To church and back!! In a cage, sub zero for two days straight, -10 tonight. Even with just two curves in your route, you'll still a lucky man.

I graduated from Edgewater Highschool in Orlando and went to college at the University of Florida. S I was pretty certain 300 feet was about the limit!

You're right, the highest point in FL is Britton Hill which is in the panhandle. 345 feet above sea level. The lowest point is well, everywhere else. My yard is 6' above sea level.
Edgewater, I hear Russ Rollins talk about that place.

Cool, we were out there on Sunday. It's not the best but it's somewhere to go. That strip of road up by Mount Plymouth Lakes is nice. We usually make a few runs up and down that road. Probably the best part of the trip.

Love bugs this time of year ? I don't think so. Maybe you'll find some during a couple of weeks in August but they've been very light the past few years.

The truth is the highest point is the roof top of some tall building!
