So i raced a couple bikes the other day...
Hey guys as of right now, i have a bone stock 03 zx12r. I have a grage full of parts to put on next month once riding seaon is officially over (PCIIIr, Muzzy Header,Ignition Advancer etc etc) but for the time being this is how the 12 held up.
First race was 2nd gear roll on at 40mph (3k rpms) against an 02 gixxer 1000 that had exhaust PC and quick shift gearing...i belive it was -2 +2. First race I wont by about a half of a front tire...was very close. We did a rematch this time rolling on from 65mph in second and i won by about 1.5 bike lenghts. The next bike i went against was a 04 gixxer 1000 that was -5 +2 gearing, PC and piped. The rider hard a hard time keeping the front down, and the first race i wont by about 2 bike lenghts. He also wanted a rematch, so we did and he lost even worse the second time. I have vidoes i will post once they get emailed to me. I will be honest though, i thought i would destroy them alot worse then i did, so i was a little disapointed. I raced the same bikes with my 03 9r and did slightly worse but but one of them still no less. I really hope the new header/pipe/PCIII will give me the extra edge.....

-5 +2 gearing? i've never heard of someone going -5 on the front sprocket, do they even make them that small?
while you do have 200cc over these guys, you have to remember your bike also weighs a lot more

i'm sure he had it backwards but if that was the gearing then a 600 would beat that on a roll on, lol, thats ridiculous, but a roll on wit those 1000 especially the 04, i would think u might initially get him cause ur bike is heavier that the 1k but i wouldve bet money he would have come around u in the higher gears.

You could see 22-25 h.p. at 11,000+ with a full pipe and tune.
The stock system falls off from peak after 10,400.

with my muzzy i picked up about 16 at the same wheel mph it peeked at stock (140mph)
with the muzzy it peeked about 150mph but is sort of flat from 140mph to limiter at around 155mph.
if you go to the limiter or just from it it picked up about 30hp
when i put it on it felt like someone elses bike it pulled that different.
my friend has a 03 like yours and stock for stock same day behind me 5 min later he dynoed 168 to my 162hp. the 03s rip.

You should of got a 2000 A1... I have full muzzy kit w. bore kit.. I dynod 188 whp... You ever done a 140 mph power wheelie?

well depending whos dyno you use i won last years dyno shootout with 186 stock with a ti muzzy  got two new gen busas with boltons by 1hp LOL they were like what the hell.....
it is a 2000 also.
