Just saw it... nice preview.

Y2k, sorry I missed ya. Actually caught up with some Labusas guys there on Saturday.
16hrs on a motorcycle from FL to NJ, with no sleep, in sub 30degree temps, makes me look strung out in the pic below....

TB, It would have been cool to meet you guys. We had a group going and had made plans to go on friday. We go on fridays because the crowd is about half as big as saturday/sunday.
I cant believe you rode to friggin NJ in january. !!
Must have been cold from VA on up?

Eh, it didnt get cold till Maryland. Then it was the biting, freezing, kinda cold. Right at 4am too.
Two words...ELECTRIC CLOTHES! I was trying to buy some socks at the show, because like a dumbass I wore 3 pairs of "cotton" socks. I had some new wool ones back in FL, but I figured I wouldnt need them.
The guy at the Gebring booth was trying to sell me a whole setup for $150+, but I just wanted the socks. I already had a rheostat with my Widder stuff.
Then the guy was giving me crap about using a Battery tender lead on the connection points when the connection wire he sold for $15 was the same gauge! I got fed up with him treating me like an idiot after I just rode 980 miles in sub 35 degree temps and bought some "motorcycle specific" socks with lycra for $20/2 pair. Much better!
Essentials include:
-Throttle rocker
-Electric vest
-Electric gloves
-Cordura pants with big outer pockets
-neoprene face mask
-turtle neck shirts
-wind breaker jacket outer
-lycra socks
Getting $$ out for tolls was a pain and gas stops were a chore!
