lmao...I dont think I wann see those things Bart....I really dont.....hey I guess if I am gonna be subject to the things, I might as well bring the digital camera and make a few "priceless pics".....lo
the only thing that will stop me from being there is being here in Kuwait. I really enjoy riding up there, Kelly and i go regularly. It will just be nice to ride withsome guys that can fo out and get spirited, Kelly isnt fast and my buddies mostly ride cruisers....Once in a while I go up there with a few guys that ride Bussa's and 12's...things get interesting then....the one guy I ride with has a Busa running 206 hp at the back tire...all motor....its fun to watch him come out of the corners....guess he can do that, he carries shit speed going through them...lol
Cant wait to meet all you meat heads and throw down a few beers, and I mean a few, havent drank a thing for 6 months, will be 8 by the time I get out of here...not gonna have any tolerance at all......*hope me and ralph dont get aquainted*....later fellas...Jim

Well dip me in shit!! I was ready to spring for a cabin but just got word the annual shutdown at work is May 10-20. No Vacation can be scheduled between May 7 thru 25. AND the ZRX meet at T.W.O. is May 16-19. This royally sucks ass.
To make matters worse they say next year it will be the first week in June. O Hell naw! That's Road America! Now I'm gettin' pissed!
On the upside, Dad just bought a building site in Dandrige(just north of Townsend) for a retirement home. By next year or so I should have a place to come down to on a regular basis(and Dad's 12r to comandeer for the weekend, buwaahaahaa!)

Well I went out on a limb and gonna trust in my commander and cheif, and hope he isnt going to send me to war...I rented cabin 11 at the site. tried to get as close to you guys as I could.,...HOPE I DONT REGRET THAT MOVE.....lol

How far is this place from Deals Gap? Is it North or South of the Gap? I am planning on coming down there but I am not sure where I am going to be staying.
Although, from what I have heard I may be able to find a man-slut in your group to bed down with for a night or two... 
I am looking forward to meeting up with you guys and putting down some miles.

jse, do you know where the Foothills Parkway is? The cabins are about 8 miles south of the East end of the foothills parkway.

Yep, after exit the Gap which is about a mile or two past the overlook, you follow 129 around west edge of the lake then you'll come to the Foothills Parkway on your right, home to a couple recent crashes, Bart and Mike.

Foothills.......
Foothills Pkwy. is an excellent road. Very fun sweepers and some semi-tight stuff on the west end before getting to the lake. Good road to warm up on.

am chatting with Kelly rightnow about my bike she ordered the M-1's for it, gonna run the 120/70 adn the 200/50 for now...so it wil have new skins on it for the gap weekend....and the way you all say you ride I may have to invest in a set of Corsa's orRennsports for that weekend...lol

Parts are here........
My tires (M1s) and my clutch cover, and other misc. parts came via the BBT Friday. Hopefully I can start working on the bike some this week. Most everything is cut and dry, just normal maintenance. Replacing clutch fibers,new clutch cover, replacing winglet on RH side, getting tires mounted etc., checking for loose fasteners and junk. The time consuming part will be my suspension tweaks, and some revisions I'm going to make to my map.
I'm going to lower the front 6mm, and shim the rear about 10mm, take about 1 turn out of my rear spring preload and see what happens.I'm sure this will insure that I have to make several other adjustments as well, but hey I can always go back to my baseline settings which aren't too bad. I'm also thinking about ditching the 47t rear and going back to the stock 46t sprocket. The 17t front is staying though.
