Replacing the Tie-Down Nuts with ???
Sorry to resurrect an old topic, but I remember a recent thread about replacing the bungee tie downs with something that doesn't stick out. .... but I can't find the thread!!
I catch shoelaces and pants on those things, and I never use them anyway, so I would like to pretty up the butt of the bike a bit.
Anyone remember the thread, or have a suggestion on replacing the tiedown with something that doesn't stick out?
Would like something polished or chromed. There were even pics on the thread ... damn, and it was just in the last month or so but I can't find it. Well, I'll keep lookin, but maybe someone remembers it or has a good suggestion?

Either replace them with the helmet holder allens (you'll have to order 2 more) or find some M8 bolts at the hardware store.

Thank you, TB. THose helmet bolts fit perfectly. Since I put the Dino hinge on, I have no use for the things anyway. I'll order two more tomorry.

Finally found them on the 'Battery Case' page at BuyKawasaki. .... 'Battery Case'...???? wtf!!
I ran thru the 'Frame', 'Fasteners', and 'Side Cover' pages with a fine tooth comb 5 times!
I thought I was losin' it, because you kept insisting it was there.
Anyway, it was, I'm smarter now, they're ordered, and the world is right.
