sounds good Ninja...where are you at? I think scooter at one time said he was from near Chatanooga...maybe it wa someone else, I dont remember...dam CRS
I am chatting with Kelly right now online and she just told me that she is going to Louisianna for a few weeks of training, get this...I am suppose to be home on the 22 of march..she leaves the 19th...that blows, it will be another 3 weeks till I get to see her....looks like I have some riding time in the mountains from the 22-the 12 of april...lmao.....whos in....lol

Nope, I'm from LA(lower Arkansas) I've been 100 mi North of Green Bay for about 15yrs. It's at least 1100 mi to Suches for me, I just know the area from the ZRX gatherings( my other vice).I really like the extra lane going over Blood Mtn. Very forgiving. 180(Wolf Pen Gap) is nearly as tight as Deals. Good eat'n down there too. I think these guys would like it better'n DG if they were down there.

I live in the wonderful Metropolis of Dyersburg,Tennessee. (Northwest TN) It's about 90 miles North of Memphis. It usually takes me anywhere between 6 and 7 hours to make it to Townsend.

lmao...I have spent alot of time at deals and at TWO..TWO has it hands down over deals....less traffic, less cops, ...great food....I know that someone from the board is close to TWO, I remember talking to them...just dont remember who it was???

Man I have got to check that area out. I've heard too many good things about it. I know Harry has spoken highly of the roads down there. I don't know if Motown (Otis) has been down there or not. I'm callin' him Blotown now after he disrespected D'burg like he did. That boys gonna learn what a Red Wing taste like............. LMFAO!!!!!

I know the hill off the side of one of them decreasing turns you were talking about VERY well.That's the road I crashed my 12 on , broke my right scapula and fucked up my back.It is a fun road though,just don't be a dumbass like me and try to blitz through it the first time you ride it.I stopped and pissed on the hill I practiced my lardass gymnastic routine on.

lol, I bet I knwo excatally what curve you are taling about too.....we were up on 28 not far from where Warwoman runs into it. I was riding with a 929, a 1k a zx9 and ,myself on my 12....these guys all knew each other and were decked out in full leathers, I tagged along with them one day from TWO....we got up in the area we were running the 1k up front, the 929 the zx9 and me....the guy on the zx wasnt fast so the other 2 were putting distance on us, i figured I would take him on the first straight we got. Came into the turn and I made a rookie mistake by keeping myself on the outside. He was going to hot to handle the corner stood his bike up and cut me off as I was on the outside of him. We both got stopped before the gaurd rail, but man was it a rush. when we left I put myself infront of him,......not gonna have that shit happen again.....
But it goes to show ya if ya dont know how someone rides, give them plenty of room.......

Ninja, I have never run the rensports, but let me tell you, the best tire I have ever ridden on is the Pirelli Corsa......that tire rocks, I just wish they wernt so dam expensive...

OK. That does it. Sept. DG6. Home base...T.W.O. I will Iron Butt it (literally and certifiably) down from Upper Michigan on the 12 with new tires waiting when I get there. Any you pansies game? ZRX bunch will be there Sept 12, 13, 14. Watchout, that is a fast bunch. Should make for a great time. Day trip out to DG.

Scooter, I iron butted it from Savannah GA up to Ig nace in July 01 on my 6R.. I am always game to ride, andif ya wanna make TWO the base, I will talk to Britt and GT and see if we can make som special accomatations..IE utting all of us in the same camping area, up near the trailers, so that we can all kinda co- locate.... Will have Kelly meet us up there with the trailer, so we have the coolers and stoves and the grill...but we may not want to wait untill september, the weather up there in the mountains in sept is umpredictable, can rain one sec and be sunny the next...I suggest August, or over the fourth of July. Britt and Gt sponsor a really good fireworks display, and the weather is always fantastic that time of year...just my 2 cents worth though....

September......
Damn my September is gonna be fucked up. Already planning a trip to the mountains with my girlfriend and another couple. (Big Mike & his wife) We were gonna try and do it during the rally so we could get to ride with the homies. (Smackhouse Crew) Shit I might just have to schedule that entire month off. Hell it's a long way off, but I'll say this. Whatever the rest of the guys want to do as far as the rally is concerned, I'm all for it. If they want to go to T.W.O. then I'm cool with that. If they want to go to the Gap and keep right on kickin' it at the cabins in Townsend, then I'm cool with that too. I only get to see those guys and get to ride with them a couple times a year. It don't really make a fuck to me where we go, just as long as we get to ride and PARTY!!!!

amen Ninja.....I like the gap, and it will be good for me to ride up there and camp up there too, I havent ridden all the roads up in that area, I have always been afraid of the man up there... I see them all over. That is why I stick to TWO, very few cops in that area..its not as commmercial as the gap...and we can still ride that gap from TWO.....I just think its something to think about for the next get together.....diversify.......lol

hey Ninja, am chatting with Kelly rightnow, the 12 is almost done....got the M-1's today, and the windshield, waiting on the timing advance, and one side cover, along with the Hans ram air cover which are on back order...and they had to redo on of the fairing pieces, he want happy with the way the one turned out...so hopefully it wont be long....cant wait to get the pics....later...Jim
