What's your VIN?
Last four digits on mine is 2318.Anyone got,like,an 0025 or something?
Which country got the first 12's?

Can you go by just the last 4 on the frame number ? I thought the sequence went out to 6 digits.

I thought they were all 002318,001234, etc.

Just saw, at the 12R Registry,a guy in Wollongong Australia with VIN TBA000001. A red '00.

Dave ,ya may be right.The next one to that dude is an '02,00169. The letters before are indeed different.
Just thought I may find a "pattern" in the VIN's,like how they were distributed when new.

I bought my 02 on feb 13, was told it was the first one sold in the state of GA.....doesnt really matter to me, I bought it to ride it....would be kinda neat to find out I guess...

I'm almost positive that I was the first to buy a 12 from my dealer.They had a red and a green just sitting there for almost a year.I could'nt believe they did'nt sell fast.In Nov '00,I went up and made the deal on the red one.I believe the green one was just sold a few months ago,or it may still be there stored somewhere.
If the greenone had green wheels,I woulda took it.Those black wheels looked so plain to me,compared to the big ,fat red one.
Soon after i saw the green out in the light of day.Holy crap,I thought,is that nice!
