New here and need some help

Ok here is the story about 2 months ago the stator connector burned up on my bike, thought it had to do with the recall about oil. Took it the dealer and they said there was nothing to do with the oil but my stator and regulator was bad, so I got those and installed them and put a HID kit on my bike, but ever since the headlight fuse on the j-box will burn out within anywhere from 20 minutes to and hour of riding.

I cant figure out why!! I took the HID kit off making sure that wasn't the problem and it wasnt. The regulator is only puttin 14.3 volts to the battery at 6000 rpm, I have checked, double checked, ttriple checked all the wiring that has to do with the headlights and no problems with any wiring!

Could my new stator be defective?

If anyone has a problem like mine or maybe have any ideas on what to try I would appreciate any and all help.

Thanks!!!

Ok thinkin my stator is bad. Now the voltages are normal readings actually maybe a little low, spec is 85-120 volts ac at 4000 rpm, I only getting about 75-80 around 4000 it doesnt get to 85 till about 4500 or so. And ohmed out the wires, just one wire to another and the spec is .3-.5 ohms, im only getting .1 ohms. Pretty damn sure the stator is shorted out.

Am I correct at this????
