Paint idea
Basically my left lower is scraped all to hell from jumping off my bike when my uncle did a 80 mph highside right in front of me and my right has some good scuffs from my mom knocking it over when I had the wheels off in her garage. china fairings are on my list but to get me through til november or so I concocted a ghetto paint scheme to cover all the scratches on both sides.

first off, thanks to whoevers picture I stole for this(can't remember who) the flames(I do em better in real life than I do in windows paint) would be truck bedliner layed down first for texture with krylon camo ultra flat black over the whole stripe. then either a black or red pinstripe to "cushion" the transition from the new paint to the stock stuff since I won't be spraying clear over the finished product. let me know what you think, this would be dirt cheap and easy for me to do and would cover all the scrapes, scratches, and scuffs. I'm open to suggestions and criticism so let me have it. thanks

I would keep the black line all the way thru the tank

I considered that but I couldn't figure a way to follow the body line on the tank or have the strip go across the tank straight and not look out of place

i would probably just along the same cut as the tank, something like how the old tank bras fit, n maybe even black out the front fender

I think I'll leave the tank alone. currently my bikes fender less, I'm bouncing between a busa, zx14, or 7rr fender.
