zx12 24 volt
need to wire up 2 batt for 24 volt 12 volt wont turn motor. has any one done this need help

Find a place to mount the secondary battery, then run a wire from the place the original starter wire connected with the battery box to the negative side of the secondary battery. Now run another wire from the positive on the secondary battery to the starter. You will have to manually charge the second battery.

more complicated, but no having to charge the second battery
breaking in a motor seems to be as debateable as which oil is best. IMO after a few heat cycles, drive it like a harley. you know, give it a big blast and coast, big blast, coast. just vary the throttle, nothing constant, and dont be scared to go thru the gears

Mine sits behind the riders seat,upright between the seat fixings about where the helmet holders would be.Use a Busa battery which is not as tall but similar output.
