They look pretty cool. My question is how well is the Titanium shielded.? In the event of a crash, when sliding across the pavement the Titanium will become very hot and likely burn the crap out you!. One of the problems with some of the early days / gloves was the metal spikes pretty much eliminated the road rash, but the wearer ended up with severe burns instead. But they are some bad ass looking gloves.

We had these on at the shop yesterday. VERY thick to say the least. Went out and grabbed the throttle on our bikes and you can't feel much. Wouldn't recommend racing in them, but should have plenty of protection in a crash or sword fight. "There can be only one"

...HAHAHAHA  ...I was thinking the same thing...sword fight...next thing ya' know, we'll have external armor...exoskeletal protection...vertebre-type protection all the way around...might scratch up your bike, though...badass gloves!

I just got mine a few weeks ago. Really stiff, I hope they loosen up after a while. You have a velcro wrist strap, a zipper and 2 velcro straps that overlap. I feel like I'm suiting up for a jousting tournement. I had to bend the tip of the knuckle guard up on the right hand glove in the index finger area in order to use one finger for braking. The forward edge of the knuckle guard could act as a shear for your fingers if you landed wrong in an accident in my opinion. Still, they do look positively evil.

BAH! Thats it. I want full on PLATE MAIL armour. Do you think the added weight of plate mail will hurt my 1/4 mile time??? hmm maybe if the whole thing were titanium?
