You know I am board when, I read every thread on this board!
For the record, I am not sleeping with anyone!
Too bad I will be working this summer, a road trip sounds like fun! I am sure I will be able to take a trip to the Okanagan, play around of golf and dip my toes in the lake.
As long as the Canadian plates are in the middle of the pile, you all should be safe while riding the roads of the USA!

I guess I'm at a loss, but I too have not heard of any anti Canadian stuff around here. I have friends that are from Montreal and no such problems have been encountered by them. I personally don't blame the citizens for the stupid stuff certain people in their government do. Me personally I think the Canadians are a great bunch. Hell and like everyone else has pointed out. If your riding with a bunch of Americans, I would be really surprised to see anyone mess with you. Now with that said, I have been thinking about driving up to Vancouver tommorrow just to get away from here and see the sights for a few days, am I going to get lambasted with a Washington plate?

Regardless of the war etc. Your Washington plate does make you a good target for a car break in. Be mindful of what you leave in the car and where you park. Otherwise have fun.

I happen to know that O&E Cycle in Eureka, CA has terrorist hunting permits for sale for only $2.00 and there is no bag limit, so stop on by and pick one up, shoot the breeze and get ready for Laguna with no worries, we hope to see you all there, the more 12's the better, cause there is no excuse for horsepower and we all know who has the most, right

Fish and Freek, I do hope you stop by on your way to or from Laguna so we can bury the hatchet so to speak and now that I own a 12 I have more than a few questions to ask, so if you happen to be heading down or up Highway 101 on your way to Laguna, please stop by and shoot the shit, that goes for anyone out there heading to Laguna for the World Superbike Race in July, I have a little more time now to talk to travelers and always look forward to meeting new people or seeing familiar faces stop by, just don't ask for the tire off of my showroom 12, ok?

fraid i wont be making it again this time mark, so i cant take u up on ur offer.
as to tires... suffice it to say that i learned the "how close is this tire to wearing out" lesson well, and am not likely to ever get stuck without a tire again!!
even mroe than that, i wish i had known that a 180 was an acceptable tire size on a 12, as many know now. i think u had a few of those in stock. 20/20 hindsight eh?

yeah I probably have at least 10 180's, and about that many 190's, which do work quite well on the 12

Of course, fish hasn't really been able to commit to a schedule...So I'm still wondering if I will be driving down alone or not.
If that's the case, will prolly just take a small two-bike trailer behind the Element.

Hey guys-
SV Hottie and I have showed up first and held the hill for our group for the last two years, but we can't make it this year due to racing commitments. You'll need to find a volunteer to be there no later than mid-day Thursday to string up the crime scene tape.

Wednesday is a good day to show up. There isn't anybody set up there to charge gate admission- You can pretty much come and go as you please. They don't charge for camping Wednesday night- You can just stay for free. You can set up your camp site exactly the way you want instead of having to squeeze in between other tents. It's fairly quiet and not real crowded. We have had a couple of real nice quiet fairly serene first evenings there on Fox Hill without anybody around to bother us. Kind of a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of the race weekend crowds. Absolutely no waiting for the showers Thursday morning either. I recommend it.

Why do you think we camped uphill from everybody else. With our Long Islands and Gregg's wife's 'Ritas being mixed up 5 gallons at a time, we just felt it would be safer.
