swft, when did you book your spot, I was thinking of driving the motorhome out with the bike on a trailer. The only spots left to camp are behind turns 9,10,11. seems like its just open camping.......no assigned spots. Do you have any connections??

If you happen to be low on tread after Laguna Seca, might I make a suggestion, there is a bike shop on Highway 101, about 5 hours North of San Francisco, in a small town called Eureka. The owner ther is a real nice guy and recently bought a Black and Gold ZX12, but he doesn't stock any 200 tires , cost too much and the ZX12 handles so much better on a 190 rear an a 120x65 or 60/17 on the front, but that's just my opinion.

Why would the war prevent you from going to Laguna? Concerned about terroists? They would rather pick on children and malls. Getting to Monterey is such a pain in the ass that they would get lost getting there!!!

And I've heard other riders say the same.
The VROM group had 12 riders from BC go to Laguna last year - now they have all said they will not travel to the US, except for a couple who have Busa's and plan to hook up with a pack of Busa riders in Oregon.
But even they are having second thoughts about going.
Why?
They are afraid of being a target because of their BC plates.
Being singled out by Americans.
Getting shot.

?? There must be something going on some of us have not seen. Have not seen nary a peep of anti Canadian stuff here in my part of the world. And if you are goinf to swft transport your bikes down, You will be a couple of many people in the Laguna area from someplace other then the US. Don't let some red neck keep you from having fun.
And by July I would expect most of this crap to have cooled down.
