160 on our rims

anyone know if putting a 160 size on our big rims? the power race 160 is a soft compound for 85 plus shipping if it will seal. that should be a flat profile for the track.
the 180 mounted and blew up easy. at 15 lbs it gets a 1.55 60ft.

Yo dennis, back in the day Jason Miller ran a 160 on a 900rr...I believe that's a 5.5" though.

worth a shot...

Just remembered something else...we had a customer roll into the shop a while back with a 140 rear tire on a Ducati ... 999 I think...it was making all sorts of popping sounds while rolling it into the shop but they RODE it in .... that being said I think you're ok with the 160.
